Courtney worked for eight years as a nurse before joining the family business. She brought with her a very important skill: tracking customers the way she used to track patients with detailed, accurate, and up-to-date information. Thanks to Courtney, when you call any member of the First Fuel team, they’ll have current information about billing, contracts, service changes, etc. at their fingertips. This saves you time and stress when resolving issues, getting answers to questions, or arranging new services.
Austin Coon

Austin started with the First Fuel team the day after graduating from Chatham High and has been a dedicated part of the company ever since. In July 2024, he also founded Big Sky Propane in Montana, bringing the same commitment to dependable service and customer relationships to a new community.
A self-described “homebody,” Austin loves raising his kids in the Hudson Valley, and to him, customers are like neighbors. When you work with Austin, you experience the difference between an independent, family-owned business and a big corporation. He’s the guy who does whatever it takes—not just because it’s his job, but because he genuinely cares.
David Coon

Sometimes David’s laid-back style makes his dad crazy. But behind the relaxed posture and sense of humor is a head for logistics and efficiency backed by a business degree from SUNY Albany. He’s definitely a guy who likes to work hard and play hard. But David’s cool head when he’s overseeing a few hundred routes in the middle of an intense blizzard means that all his customers get to relax. And that’s how it’s supposed to work.
